Doldrums - when the wind's not blowing, it can drive you to do something crazy. This tune is about that insanity that happens when things get quiet. It's uneasy - and you imagine all sorts of "monsters in the silence."
This tune started life as a 12 bar blues, but my friend told me I'd never get away with that these days and suggested I do something more rocking with it. So, being a big fan of Eric Clapton I took it in the direction of Cream.
